No Sinner is the product of “musician russian roulette” at jam nights in Vancouver's Gastown, where leader singer Colleen Rennison met co-writer Parker Bossley, formerly of Hot Hot Heat. Matt Camirand (Black Mountain) was an old friend from the music scene as well. After a messy evening playing with guitarist, Eric Campbell—and losing track of him at the end of it—Colleen vowed he would be in her band, going so far as to call every Campbell in the North Vancouver Yellow Pages to find him. Within months of formalizing the band, No Sinner was quickly backed by a brilliant team of friends and professionals, filling the positions of engineer, video director, graphic and merchandise designer, booking agent, manager and publicist. “There are so many talented people in my life,” says Rennison, “we scratch each other's backs.” Did you notice that Rennison backward is No Sinner?
